In one such video, Vidya is depicted sitting on a sofa, introducing herself as, "Hey, main hoon aap sabki favourite Vidya Balan..." To counter this, she shared the clip with a prominent 'Scam Alert' warning on her Instagram account, clarifying its inauthenticity.
She further urged her followers to be vigilant about the spread of such misleading AI-generated content and to verify information before sharing it. This incident highlights the growing concerns regarding digital authenticity and the misuse of artificial intelligence.
